That nice mix of Batman/racing car is gone. I think they just screwed the looks of it. Lets hope performance wise its a step forward.

The nissan backed one is much sleeker looking.

note they are 2 different cars. Nissan sucked the life out of the delta wing team and absorbed them, and took the design, but left the team. weird how that all played out.

I never liked the chome wrap (matte black is definitely more striking on the car, just look at the test pictures).

I don't like the look as much as the roadster, but it seems the coupe will perform much better, and that's what it's really all about.

That's not a DP-style cockpit, believe it or not that was designed to meet the 2014 LMP1 cockpit rules (for dimensions, at least, they've given it a central seating position).

It does look absolutely massive, but I'm pretty sure that's due to the comparative smallness of the rest of the car rather than the size of the car itself. Here's a diagram of the 2014 cockpit size, if you assume the DeltaWing's rear tires have the same track width but that the front of the car is as narrow as the cockpit, there you go.

you win. I would like to ammend my statement and say What appears to look like an ugly DP style cockpit.

The more I look at it, the more it does look like an audi r18 ultra cockpit, but add the big fenders to the audi, and it looks at home. on the delta, it looks as out of place as the ugly DP cockpits.

I wish both teams success. I really like seeing when we as humans think we have it all figured out, then an idea out of left field proves us all wrong. Like mazda did with the 787b, and how nissan is able to make the gtr lap the ring faster than all the years of ferrari's heritage combined.
